Illinois PIRG Staff
Dev Gowda joined the Illinois PIRG Education Fund staff in October of 2013 as a Public Interest Advocate. Born and raised in Darien, Illinois, he is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and the University of Minnesota Law School. He has done advocacy on international human rights and corporate accountability issues, particularly concerning the Alien Tort Statute and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, with the Human Rights Litigation and Legal Advocacy Clinic at the University of Minnesota. Dev is working on Illinois PIRG Education Fund's Democracy, Health Care, Tax and Budget, and Consumer Protection program.
